All of the pieces that I have had framed here were beautifully executed. A lot of time and care went into each piece, especially the embroidered silk panel. The choices for the mats and frames are extensive. Hard to choose just one!

There is a very interesting glass show by local artists in place until December 17th. Take advantage of Whimsey Cove's framing, map print sales and other professional services.

Beautiful Frame of MAJ Larry Thorne, Thank you!
City & State: Fayetteville, N.C. Washington District of COLUMBIA

We had a presentation of the Frame with MAJ Larry Thorne, Special Forces / Green Beret. --US. Army who was declared KIA (Killed in Action) in Vietnam during Vietnam War. At first, MAJ Larry Thorne, or Larry, was declared MIA, Missed in Action. He and his team were in Helicopter, it was knocked down and no survivors. During war and this happened in LAOS, it was hard to do S & R. So, for about 40 years + Larry was Missed in Action. In 2003- His remains were returned to USA< and now he is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, in Virginia. Larry was Finnish American, just as I am Finnish American and one of my mission in life was to help to USA to bring Larry remains back to USA from Vietnam. It was important closure. Elizabeth Ramirez, the owner of Whimsey Framing, in Annapolis, she and the whole crew understood the mission and everybody in the Studio is talented and wonderful and intuitive artist.

Suzanne and another beautiful young lady artists, helped me to select the colors for the frame. The frame is in black oak wood, and on Irish Green panel under glass.

After the frame was done and it was done with a plaque from bronze, -- Elizabeth Ramirez helped me to connect with a wonderufl Painter Artist in Annapolis. He name is Cinthia Fletcher. of FletcherArt.com in Annapolis.
Cynthia completed the final strokes on the glass, she pained "US Army Special Forces Airborne with insignia of Special Forces in Green Sage color with Yellow strike.

On 11-6-2021 there was a presentation of Frame with MAJ Larry Thorne, and I wish you could see it here. I cannot upload photos. But I posted photos on my Facebook, www.facebook.com/olga.roemer

Thank you SO MUCH Elizabeth Ramirez of WHIMSEY ARTS Framing studio in Annapolis, MD.

Whenever I have special art I need to have framed, Wimsey Cove is my choice. Elizabeth offers great suggestions and takes her time with clients as if their project is the only one she has. Wimsey Cove has framed numerous unique pieces of art for us, each unique, and we have always been thrilled with the outcome. I highly recommend the Wimsey Cove team for their detailed and professional framing work.

I've been exceptionally pleased with Wimsey Cove's work. They understand proper museum-level matting, framing, and glazing and do a thoroughly professional job with sensitive materials. They are also very community-minded and have participated in events such as the annual Public Workshop in Archaeology hosted by the Maryland Historical Trust.

Great place for all your scanning and framing needs. They will give your art personal attention and care to details. I use them for all my framing, and it's fun to visit there and see what they have for display and sale as well.
